First outing today with the Q as my only camera. Went to the Getty Museum in L.A. Here's a few that I grabbed real quick off the card and some minor PP in Gimp.

One does have to think a bit differently without the DSLR in the bag! How was the Metzker exhibit?

This really isn't up to the same level as the great photos I've seen here, but so far this is my best K-01 shot.
Shot is decent enough but isn't this a thread for Q shots?

I like the way the texture/color of the stairs 'pops' in the first shot.

Oops, that is a Q shot. I drank most of those, and posted before bed, so excuse my inaccuracy Fixed the original message!

And yeah, I own both!

Ha - I saw that but figured it was a Q shot - just a slight case of mislabeling......

Thanks a lot. I actually shot it in black and white. I was shooting in RAW+JPEG though and I liked the color shot better.

Great shot, and good to see your head has cleared up to remember which camera you used

Finally getting the hang of using flash triggers with the Q, camera is so odd, you gotta turn flash off, but I can only use my 01 lens, my 03 and sonnetar are no go's...
Great use of the flash, gives me inspiration to try it too.

Nice shots BTW. I might try adding a little grain to the crane shot. It will even out the sensor shadow noise and I think would fit with the moody atmosphere of that shot.
Here I go, responding to old stuff. (I've been away.)

I've never really been happy with grain I add myself. Quite possibly based on knowing it's fake rather than any inherent property of the grain. I guess that means I should do it more (so I get used to it), but laziness will probably win.
