Thanks! Really liking mine so far.
Very nice shots with the 06! I really need to get out with mine more and give it a good exercise.

the eagle is wild but likes to periodically hang out in a tree...problemn is he isn't real exciting just hanging out

Hi Amy , that's a nice shot of the eagle, how far up the tree do you estimate it was?

Wish I had some of those guys around here to take pictures of.

I'm sorry you are getting a little frustrated with the Q but hopefully you have seen the possibilities,
I think the effort is worth it as I never imagined I could get such close shots as I have been able to at the distances I am working.

I put together a little video of my workflow with the Q and DA*300, hope it helps and let me know if you have questions.

It was too cold today to do what I did, which is ride a bicycle. Still, I had my Q and was able to take a few shots before frostbite set in.
Nice shots, love the Corvair

This is pretty heavily cropped and color corrected, but I have to say: I love the grain on this camera. Many people have commented that it looks like film and they're right! I think the trick to enjoying the Q is to embrace the grain.

Some shots from John Dickinson State Park. All using my newly acquired 06 Telephoto.
That 06 looks like a fine lens - nice shots!

It's so cold outside - this whole week is supposed to be just unbearable to be outside. So having a little fun inside while the wind chill is ~ -10F (-23C). Here is our weather forecast for the week:

Now where is Bentley, our 200# English Mastiff - he is big enough that you don't usually loose track of him.......oh there he is..........smart dog!

Can you tell that I am disturbing him with my little Q?

Bentley looks like he is mentally working out the digestive properties of your Q. You're lucky that he'll probably judge it not worth the effort to eat because its so small.

Bentley looks more than capable of taking it in stride. Great shot!
