Looks just like my little 'Pepe' Japanese Chin. He passed on this past summer. I sure do miss him. Love your shot.
Thanks!

Sorry to hear about Pepe. Mine is named Sushi and she's getting up there in years as well. Had a Yorkie that I loved very much that we put down almost two years ago, she was 18 years old. Still miss her dearly, but at least I still have Sushi.

Good one, the B/W works well here

The power lines are indeed a bit distracting but not that much.

Majestic shot! It feels so massive and alive. Not the usual touristy shot there.

Thanks mates!

I shot it with the fisheye to get the most of the tower, but back home I realized the girl was far more interesting so I had to crop a bit to make her stand out.

And yes it's me on instagram, hehe

Hurrah! My 06 finally arrived today. Some test shots, all shot in a burst of enthusiasm during my lunch hour today

Congrats on your new 06! It really is a nice lens - hard to believe you can get 249mm equivalent with such a small package. I like the fact that it is a constant 2.8 and find the IQ very good - I like it a lot more than the 02 kit lens.

Thanks, Stan! I decided to skip the 02. Hope to get out with the 06 again soon, though it looks as if it will be snow shots and nothing else for a while.

I did the same - actually sold the 02 lens to help pay for the 06. I like my setup with the 01 and 06 lenses as they both give me great IQ.

We had the same little snow that you had yesterday - actually everything has been white up here since December.
