Anyone has images taken with the 02 lens at full zoom (15mm) and NO post processing ... ?

because I need to see some of those images so that I can compare to some of mine.
I have but one day left before returning the Q kit (includes a 01 and 02 lenses) for full refund: I was told to send the whole thing back (not just the 02 lens) if I thought the lens was not "up to par".
I am not very keen on sending anything back ... I love this Q camera ... just that the 02 lens seems a bit "soft". ?

So, maybe it is just me ... still would be great if someone could point to me, or show, some sample shots as mentioned above.

Cheers.

JP

Just playing around on this one. Wasn't a fan of the original shot but after the changes at least it catches the eye a little more.

Well this one is certainly experimental. I suppose it's bizarre enough to be somewhat interesting at a passing glance.

Bizarre is right! I like it.

Jpzk: just contact Pentax. They'll make it right.

I thought about that too but then I wondered if this wouldn't be a better place because of this thread title.

So, I'll start a thread instead.

I will do that once I am sure that the pics are really "soft" with the 02 or maybe it is a case of "me".
Henry's has a 15 day return policy, but of course, this end tomorrow a.m..

Thanks.

They're clamoring for the many available-in-japan color choices for the Q10!

They must not be very savvy if they don't realize that the original white/black Q with the magnesium-alloy body is definitely more desirable/classy when compared to the less solid plastic one of the Q10. However, I can see how shallow puppets would go for pretty colors over build quality. Plus I suppose it's hard to keep up with the latest firmware updates when you have a hand up your back-side

That's what the Q is all about IMHO. The surprisingly good IQ is just a bonus!

Like your last two shots!

YES! I need to take pics of my figurines/statues as well. Personally would have gone for a more morbid/nightmarish kind of background to achieve a darker tone. Still like the depth of field though.

One, Two Freddy's coming for you,
Three, Four, better lock your door,
Five, Six, grab your crucifix,
Seven, Eight, gonna stay up late,
Nine, Ten never sleep again.

Ha ha! Love it!

Haha thanks! It's a friend's action figure at work and we got bored, didn't have to go far from our roof deck for decent background.

I just took 1 pic, the PP I used is mostly what I do for model/fashion shoots and the outcome is just great for Spawn!

Yeah, for such a small sensor, the DoF and sharpness is just amazing! What I really like about this camera is its portability! I basically have this inside my jacket pocket everyday of the week!
