Thanks (to the other people who liked it too, my most popular Q short so far I think). The Q is good for night shots, where I generally want everything in focus anyway.
I shoot too many formats, so I try to convert everything to a standard format (my K5) in my head, so in this case I think of it as f/16. (I know it's not exact, but there's no need for it to be.)
Which actually makes the Q 01 the most down-stoppable (that's a word, right?) standard lens Pentax has made. (f/8 on the 01 standard prime would be f/32 on the FA31 on the K5 (f/22 max), f/45 on a 50 on small format (usually f/22 max), and about f/75 on 645, where they still have f/22 max on the standard lens, and it's starting to look a little silly.)
