Visualdarkness, Those are some great shots with the DA* 300! My favorite so far is the second one in this set.
Can I ask which adapter you used?

KIWI, the adapter works and fits nicely but the aperture control is pretty bad as it is impossible to know the selected aperture (only the shutter speed on the camera to go after).

Excellent as is the second set. really like the detail you are getting in the ice crystals. Time to pull out the macro and put it on the Q?

Here's a couple of shots taken with adapted lenses using the Pentax adapter. I've had little time for fun photography of late so have not had time to really put the adapter through its paces.

The first was taken with the 100WR macro, the second with the 55-300 mm at about 150mm focal length hand held -- still waiting to see what will be the best solution to get it on my tripod.

Both look good but I really like the first one, such concentration captured!

Finally getting the hang of using flash triggers with the Q, camera is so odd, you gotta turn flash off, but I can only use my 01 lens, my 03 and sonnetar are no go's...

Cool studio stuff with the Q! What triggers do you use? I want some for K-5 and Q.

Unboxing video shot with the Q + 01 Prime.

Unboxed - Nikkor 1 18.5mm f/1.8 - YouTube!

F1.9 IIRC. It's nice and sharp through much of the frame, but if you closely you can see some softness in the corners.

Wow.. Very nice studio shot! Care to share more on how you get to use with the flash trigger?

I think Q is really my daily camera now. Easily left in my bag. It has become my food shot camera! Think i should take other stuff other than food.

Last shot with Vibrance Colour setting.

This really isn't up to the same level as the great photos I've seen here, but so far this is my best Q shot.
