I guess you have all seen the news about the new firmware, but boy that thing is quick now.

Quick demo video:

I expect a full review. No less! LOL :-) I have a third party adapter and that thing is just, well not up to the standard I am used to. Can't wait to hear your thoughts and see the shots.
I don't know about a full on review but I will give my impressions and definitely share my pics. Anxious to try out my newly acquired FA 43 on the Q as well as the DA 70.

Wow! That's nuts! I will definitely be upgrading our Qs ASAP. Thanks for the video. :-)

(Wish my Pentax DSLRs focused that fast...)

Not a fantastic photo but this is why I bought a Q, I always carry it around now and saw this heron on some dudes beemer on the way to college today, an opportunity I would have missed had I not had the Q with me.

I think that is a great photo just based on the fact is is bizarre. Ultra sharp too, was that with the 01?

Photo opportunities have been few & far between recently, but I did manage to take a few while in Boston & Westerly RI with the 01 and 06. BTW intstalled the new firmware, which does seem to improve AF speed.

A couple shots from Downtown Stuart. Actually used the on board flash for these two.

Cool shots. Those darn sandhill cranes are a PIA. Especially when they walk right into traffic and make everyone stop. They KNOW they own the place. hahaha.

Taken with Super Tacumar 55/f2.
The Stag-horn growing on the palm is the size of a quarter, and grew there naturally. They look lovely when mature, like the horns of a stag.

Trying to decide today if my cycling camera will be just the Q or a K30, so took out the Q in my jersey pocket.

Pentax Q - Prime 01 -21 shots stitched with Hugin

I like how the large DOF and very sharp performance that the Prime 01 has by f4.
In real use, it just means not needing to go very high ISO for a hand holdable shot.
