Is it just me, or is this guy getting a lot better?

hi,

picts from camera were pretty contrast-less cause the shots were in shadow or very low light of cloudy days.

it's from a preset i made in LR. somewhere between bleach bypass and hdr i guess.
i don't use camera rendering exept for the monochrome B&W that i really like.
maybe i should give them a try , but i still kinda not confortable with these.
Most of time i get what i want from raw + Lr.

The Q is surprisingly good for long-exposures. What I especially like is that it is very light and combined with a Cullmann nanomax which is really light as well, you almost forget about having them in your bag! The only thing bugging me a little is the 2s limit of the electronic shutter, which means no cool fisheye shots at night!

This is Vienna by the way. My hometown!

Nice & very evocative of places of which I'm extremely fond.

Abandoned church in NE Missouri: (taken on Easter) 02 lens.

Thought about cloning the power lines out, but was too lazy. :-P

Thanks I guess! The winky-smiley is making me slightly hesitant to be fully appreciative.

I do see a progression in my shots from November of last year to now.

Croneberg, nice image of where you live. Welcome to the Q and this forum. Post more images when you get the time.
The Q can be tricked to do longer than 2 second exposures with electronic shutter. Shoot 9 multiple exposures of 2 sec each. It also reduces noise by a large amount.
thanks
barondla

Enjoy the Q. Q is so much fun.

Visited a cathedral today, so light was low enough inside.

Thanks to you and jva! I'll post some tomorrow. And I will certainly try that multiple exposure thing which you described. I'm very curious what the results will look like.

Somebody moved my first analog shots from one table to another. Apparently they weren't good enough for the person. I still got no idea who did this and I doubt it was on purpose but I found it quite funny!

Here are some captures from a cold but sunny day at the Danube about 3 weeks ago. I really like how you can achieve quite nice bokeh with the Q's Standard Prime lens set at f/1.9! The last one was shot with the Pentax 03 Fisheye lens.
