Very cool! Q - how are you getting your images into the iPad for editing, and do you think this can work OK with a mini?
I use the camera Kit and i think is not ompatible with the mini

Excellent! The 02 strikes again.
Thanks, I'm usually a prime guy with my OM-D and do have the prime for the Q but, I just find the 02 just so useful and the IQ is not too shabby!

You can get one for the mini. That's how I uploaded my last 2 photos.

bowdish67 - excellent b&w shots and the last one is just beautiful!
And I like the "Stairway to heaven", too.

I'm still using my Pentax 110 lenses, a few today's shots:

Hey Tom, it is looking good - I like the white Q/135/gimbal shot. The gimbal will come in handy for the longer work.
Test shots are showing promise.
I'm not familiar with the lens but suggest you test at base ISO 125, then play with the aperture to see how far you can go.
5.6 may be the the best compromise. Does it have a hood?
I did not have a hood on these shots but it was sitting inside the house (shaded) looking out a window. I should have a screw on hood for that, if not I'll make a cardboard hood for the next few days. I guess that 5.6 may be about the best, but I will take some shots with it on the K-30 to test. I tried the DA55-300 earlier, just very hard to manually focus, but I had a setting wrong and may try again. I got my Fotodiox adapter painted tonight. I have some JIS screwdrivers so I dis-assembled the mount and aperture ring, it made it much easier with less masking. I'll take this setup with me to Magee Marsh in a few days, but no pressure on this, I'll be doing most of my shooting with my K-30 and a rented Sigma 50-500, it will arrive by Thursday so I'll give it a good test Thursday evening.

Really like your first shot with the windows. Quite abstract!

Thank you so much - love the colors and the strong elements in these shots - especially the first one. Those 110 lenses look like they might be worth a try.

Nice strong idea - love all the cigarette butts in the first one - adds a little extra the shot.

Thanks a lot!
The yellow lines are nicely composed, I like the last shot the most.

These Pentax 110 lenses are fun to use, they are small, lightweight and they fit the Q very well. But there are also some downsides:
- there is no iris in these lenses, so you are stuck to f/2.8;
- it's quite likely you won't be able to focus at infinity with most adapters, especially with wider lenses (18 mm, 24 mm);
- I found out that the pictures taken with the Q are not tack sharp, at least not as sharp as these taken with my NEX camera - it may be a problem of the 1/13th of a second it takes the Q to scan the sensor while using the electronic shutter. Or maybe I should have turned off the stabilisation or I'm doing something else wrong...

But the colors and costrast are good, focusing is quite easy, it's not a problem to achieve a shallow DOF even with the 18 mm... and they are not expensive, especially here in Poland - I got a whole set (the camera, flash, 18, 24,and 50 mm lenses, losts of filters, all packed into a nice metal suitcase) for something like 50 bucks...
