Let's share shots with Q!

Well... I gave-in and got myself a second hand Q with a 01 and 03 lens...

took it for a spin today with my friend his wife and kid.

So far I'm loving it, like I'm loving my steak (:

God... I'm so itching to post up the pics I took but i can't.... must resist.. I will be posting up by the end of this month.. I keep telling myself maybe I can post up 1 pic but..must not!

Well, looks like I'm picking up a Q with the 01 lens. Not sure if it can be nearly as much fun as my K-01's but I'm thinking the tiny size factor will cause me to use it a lot (instead of my smart phone), as I can sort of wear it.

Good work with that 1k mirror. The last one is very nice.

Trying to shoot those distances over the ground is definitely going to introduce atmospheric disturbance into the shot, unfortunately.

When you have a minute place an entry into the adapted lenses reference thread, I think this may be the first 1000mm we have seen on the Q.

Hi CheepShot,

I'm very impressed!!! The Kestral shot is exceptional. I tried some PP on this file and with a little NR and sharpening, It really looks good, even from the significantly downsized image.

I've yet to get as good results from my Tamron SP 500 f8 and the Q. Looks like I'll have to give it another go soon. . .
