F1.2/16 mm CCTV-lens [CS mount]

These are the first efforts with a new CS portrait lens; 16mm [eq. 89,6 mm on 35mm].
The aperture is fixed at f1.2 which does wonders for [strange] bokeh...
The adapter is built out of a locking body cap and glue..[total cost with lens: about US$ 10:-]
Also, there´s no vignetting in spite of CS being built for 1/3" sensors.
The vignetting is only visible in the CS wide angle lenses [2.1 / 2.8 / 4 mm] I´ve tried...
No cropping - just downscaled to 1024x.

ISO 400 at 1/6th second, arms supported by knees...

Center crop at 100% from above pic

ISO 400 at 1/8th second, arms supported by knees...

Thanks/Erik

The lens does good work with your Qat (feline model for Q owners.)
Did you add the blue cast with filters or in PP or is that how the lens renders?

And now for something completely different...

I had the Q with the 02 Zoom mounted to the handlebar via an articulating arm and a Manfrotto Mini Clamp. Helmet cam was a ContourHD. Thrown together in Final Cut Pro X.

It works quite well in low light situations too.

A couple of abstracts. Forced myself to shoot with the Q today. Felt good, like hanging out with an old friend. Need to do it more often.

Very cool! Now that's something I need to try, I haven't much messed about with the various filters and special settings yet.
