Thanks, Hans and cfraz!

cfraz- Although it was shot off-hand, I did adjust contrast, boost the magenta luminescence level, apply a slight vignette, etc. in LR5. Er, and the lighting was early morning partly cloudy.

The end result is wonderful, I really love the colours.

I stumbled across a firework display in Monaco, I happened to have the Q in my bag, 01 lens, no tripod made it tricky though. In the spirit of the Q I tried out quite a few different settings, once again I am really pleased with the colours from this little camera.

NIce! If you pulled that off hand held - is your day job one of those statue guy street performers?

You got me! I love a bit of silver body paint!

I found a bit of wall, it had a domed top but it was better than nothing. I think I need to get myself a gorilla pod to have in my bag alongside my Q at all times, although I do think those Manfrotto pocket supports look good too, just perhaps not as versatile?

I always carry a Gorillapod Micro 800 in a corner of the case for when I don't plan to bring a tripod.
It folds up in no space at all and is quite sturdy and capable when I deploy it on my Q.

Tonight I found out that Black Widows are actually dark brown, and hairy.

I think the hourglass warning should have been placed on top vs. the underside, don't you?

If these are shaky I hope you can understand why.

I have to admit that I don't mind spiders for the most part, but that close, that big and with that reputation - No Thanks! Great pictures though.

This is possibly my favourite shot I've achieved with Q to date, I visited Princess Grace Park in Monaco after heavy rain, as per usual I only had the Q on me and an hour to kill, This is straight off the camera, no cropping or PP. 01 Lens, Bold Monochrome on the front dial

Also straight off the camera, I really like the colour rendition

And I got lucky when a pigeon waved at me, others from today need a bit of cropping etc in photoshop.
