Funny image jv59. Like the processing on this one. Good job. Has a very modern feel to it.

armendoza, welcome to the Q family and forum. Spectacular portraits. Can't wait to see more.

wolfiegirl, glad you found a Q and joined the forum. You are using that 01 lens well. You will find the Q is a great compliment to the K-01. Cool looking plant photograph.

thanks
barondla

If you haven't heard yet, the Q is FUN.

Thanks hnikesch and barondla.

I am pleased that the 01 is so wide. It works really well because at the moment I have an 80-210 on the tamron, so I'm struggling to grab the wide shots I want without having to either lug around another heavy cam or stop, stand, change lenses etc. The Q is so light, it's easy to swing it over and take the shot I need. And it's lovely to have a lens wide enough to grab those spur of the moment shots but small enough to not be too much of a drain.

Many thanks, Kenafein! Off to Toronto tomorrow--will see if any photo opportunities present themselves.

A couple more from yesterday, the first of which may be too cluttered a composition (advice welcome)

Many thanks for kind words, JHD. I use Nik Silver Efex 2, of which I'm a big fan.

Q7, to me is perhaps the best street camera out there.
Just love the pns form factor, fast AF and f1.9 'normal' 01 lens FOV.

I nearly sold my Q the other day- to a friend who thinks he wants it- but then I decided that would be a mistake! So now I still have my fun & travel camera.
