My little town in northern Nevada got hit with a cold spell recently we're slowly climbing back out of it. Snow and ice cover our fields and the clouds stretch over the sky like cotton candy.
All the cold weather has frozen the local ditches and created little caverns to climb inside of. The local animals seem to like these places. There are rabbit and bird footprints on the virgin snow that hasn't melted away yet.
So let's climb inside and see what we can see!
It looks like a huge cavern, doesn't it? I bet it feels like for the local wildlife if they try climbing inside. In order to get this shot I had to get on my hands and knees and then lay down on my stomach on the frozen ice.
I always enjoy making pictures like this and I hope you enjoy seeing them!
