Hello

I just join the forum and still new to photography stuff. I just bought my Q10 around 2 weeks ago but never had interesting object to shoot.
So I just shot a flower in my backyard

Sorry about the quality and poor composition.

oh btw, how do I put flickr image that link to flickr? I won't appear when I put flickr image link.

The focus point for the water is different than the focus point for the reflection!
Shooting a reflection from a flat surface is like shooting the object itself at the same distance you would get by adding the distance from camera to mirror and mirror to subject.

Nice set!

Went on a portrait shoot today with my girlfriend. Was really happy with how the results came out with some touching up in Lightroom. This was my first time using the Q for a portrait shoot, and it combined with the 06 Telephoto spat out some really nice shots.

A couple of photos taken with my Q + 01 lens in a driving snowstorm. I'm posting similar photos taken with my K-30 and 55-300 WR in another thread.

Liked the station a lot! Here's a few street style photos shot on my lunch break with Q 7 & 02.

Forever Marilyn

The Forever Marilyn statue in Palm Springs. Taken with the 01 lens and some LR effects for the blue sky version and Unicolor bold setting for the other.

Taken with the Q and adapted Nikkor P 105mm. Possibly my favorite telephoto lens to use with the Q.

It takes patience to produce clean, crisp photos with this lens as with any telephoto adapted onto the Q. It is much more fun to just not be too concerned with focus and take more photos. I find I am more pleased and surprised with random results rather than just sitting around making sure what I want is in focus.

I did not use a LCD Loupe (lost the magnetic frame ages ago) and used a monopod for stability. It was quite windy as you can see in the foliage.

Edit: Last photo was taken with a Q and a Nikkor 28mm f/2.8
