I suppose that is one way to go about shooting with the Q!

Have you tried experimental shooting with a smaller lens (maybe 50 or 105mm) handheld? If you can find some birds in front of a sunset...it can produce some awesome results! Not high quality but beautiful!

Love the setup. How big is that lens???

Pentax Q + Nikon adapter + Teleconverter 1,4 + extension tube + Osawa 80-205 Macro. For my first macro tests, difficult at aiming at the subject holding manually, but the SR worked wonders:

Buds are on my red cornus, seems a bit early in the season for this, but they are here. The red branches give the nice brokeh background with this lens:

Here's a shot from a post-Valentine's lunch date I had with my wife.

Shot with the Q and 01 lens, heavily processed in Aperture.

The Presidents in town so I took these of Air Force One at Palm Springs International Airport. I used the 02 zoom lens. I tried lots of differant settings and processed them in Lightroom.

Interesting to see a Studebaker for the Australian market with right hand drive. They don't make them like they used to!

This has become my favorite thread on this forum. There is some tremendous talent on here. I am especially enjoying the artistic interpretations being shown using the various filters of the Q cameras. You've given me some ideas for the photography club I am a member of.
