I spent the day at the Adelaide leg of the Soundwave heavy metal, punk and hardcore festival. I often shoot gigs for a commercial website, but I had no media accreditation this time and had to "make do" with a "point and shoot" camera.

The Q7 did OK. The vast majority of the 163 keepers were taken with the 06 Telephoto Zoom, for obvious reasons. Brilliant lens.

I thing it may be a bit darker for me, but thanks for the inspiration and pics.

So, i was on little studio shot. My first studio shot. With K20D and Q.

SURPRISE! Q can't work with wireless triggers? So i was forsed to on camera flash.
Out-of camera jpg. Some minor tweaks with paint.net.

Nice enough! :-)

BTW: The Q can use wireless triggers. You just have to turn the flash of the Q to "off" - and you have to use a lens with a built in shutter (01/02/06/08).

Great shots - all of them have their own unique quality. Which lens did you use for the first one - the 01?
