Just scored a Q7 + 02 for an upcoming trip to Hawaii where I'll be traveling light and decided to leave the K5 at home. Going to try and find a used 06 and some wasabi's. I really really wanted the Evangelion Q10..... but for about the same cost I got the 7 so am happy. Been reading up and following this thread so im excited to see what all this Q mania is about.

Quite happy with how this turned out for such difficult circumstances with a small sensor.
08 lens, 1/13 sec hand held ISO 400
Banburgh Castle, N.E. England

and this one, ISO 640! I think it's amazing how well the little blighter does.

This was supposed to be a new post but turned into an answer to jethro10's post. Sorry about that.

Isnt the Q nice.. some times its just there when you need it. I was shooting a month with a fish eye and bolted out of the house to catch rainbows resultant from a thunder storm - the Q was conveniently tucked away in my car.

Shot in Raw with minor W/B adjust and some clarity and saturation in LR 4.

The Sonnetar's softness works well here, I think.

At the end of the tunnel
Pentax Q with Sonnetar 25 mm @ f/1.1, 1/1250 s, ISO 125

Spidey was shot at minimum focusing distance. That 01 is a nifty little lens, I should use it more...

1/2.3" sensor does bokeh
Pentax Q with 01 @ f/1.9, 1/320 s, ISO 125

100% crop, no sharpening
The tunnel shot turned out very nice, I like it

Arctic Tern.
Q7, 06 Lens - Raw therapee/Gimp.
I used manual, and set a fast shutter as there was generally a lot of movement and F8 to give as good a chance as I could get to keep them in focus - although this one was being very kind. I let the ISO float, and this one was 320.

The sky on my drive to work this morning was stunning, but there was no way to safely get a photo in heavy morning traffic. I settled for this capture after arriving at work. Q + 01 prime.

A quick self-portrait of my daughter and I at OWowCow Ice Cream. Taken with the Pentax Q7 and 08 lens. The 08 makes it really easy to get multiple people into a selfie.

Nice one Dave (Is it just the wide angle, or are those really enormous portions?)
