Idle shot whilst lounging in a country cafe. Nothing special but I like "bold monochrome" ( i have it set on the front dial) and the texture grain in the table top..

Hotrod show with Pentax Q7 and Fisheye

Got to the show late as they were packing up but still found some neat cars, most of the crowds were gone. The show was scheduled to 4PM and I got there at 2 ??? They did let me in free.

The Frost Moon using my SkyScanner F4 400mm reflector, 2x barlow lens and Pentax Q. My math may be wrong, but with the crop factor, does that make this a 4,400mm lens?

Still learning with the Q-S1, my first camera of significance. Focusing with the remote trigger was a bit off this morning but the cold weather sunrise colors were great. Got a couple decent pictures at least though I need to revisit the remote trigger routine.

Long time lurker ... first time poster.

Shot with orig Q + 01 w/ Bold Monochrome Smart Effect.

The light source from the top right corner is actually a horrible flare ... as I don't have a hood on the 01 (yet). The Bold Monochrome Smart Effects salvaged this shot.

This effect could have been done via post, but I may have very well missed that opportunity with this shot (might have dismissed this as a bad capture and either threw it on storage and ignored ... or worse, deleted).

And here is another (pet portrait) with same Q and lens as above ... with Blur Control + post effect in DxO FilmPack5

Took a break from serious shooting with the K-50 to play a bit in our local "butterfly house"
All where shot with the 06 lens

ISO-200 1/200 +1EV f/2.8

ISO-200 1/640 +1EV f/3.2

ISO-320 1/250 +1EV f/2.8

decided to give one the black and white treatment just for kicks
love the amount of detail the Q7 06 lens combo can produce

Hey yoggie - use the Bulletin Board code...not the HTML, to post an image from Flickr.
The flare adds to the shot - I like it - something would be missing without it.

Fun with the 07 pinhole

Went into the city (Chicago) with just the 07 lens, shooting b&w square crop.
