Q7+50mm A110

Using the Q7 with the A110 50mm f/2.8 with an aperture disk to reduce the aperture to F/4. ISO 400 with nominal sharpening and all cropped to 25 - 35% of original image.

IME the potential of this lens is as good or better than the DA 55-300 at 250mm on APS-C under similar conditions.

They did actually.
In Dec I got an email requesting for one of the macro photos I had done with the original Q.
It was for a Ricoh/Pentax sample booklet they used for shows and for distributors to see.

So I sent them 2 shots and one was chosen.

Just 3 weeks back, I got a reply and a link to download the booklet.
So at least the photo came to some good use.
I'm glad to hear that! Can you please beg them to release the macro lens, with an in-camera focus stacking feature?

the Bokeh in this picture is worthy of a larger sensor!

Wow !! Look at the details. 01 lens still shine. I guess it had to be taken handheld, no flash.

Just got a Q7 +02 kit. Picture taken at 3200 ISO, 1/80, F/4.0. Can't wait for the sun to come out. RAW file adjusted WB + some sharping and pegged the distortion slider in LR.

Pentax Q-S1 and AF Extension Tubes with 06

First try with a new toy. The 10mm Tube works great with the 01 8.5mm prime. AF has locked on nicely.
