I've just got a new Q + 01 and 03 kit that I bought used. The more I take shots with, the more I like it! At first, I wasn't sure if I should get it after reading the not so good reviews on the net. However, after having it a week, it's clear that many of these reviews were wrong. The Q is really a camera that you should use and live with to really appreciate it.

So, here's a shot of my youngest son looking at the rain.

So I made a pot of coffee, set up my gear next to the kitchen table and just let the gear do the walking for me.
You can do that when you have 560mm of glass with a Q sensor mounted on the back end of it.

BTW I got a cheapo AC power adapter for the Q and it's really nice to be able to leave the Q running all day with the LCD on full bright and not have to worry about batteries.

The usual backyard suspects.....
And they say the Q has inferior pictures???? You prove otherwise.

Thanks - appreciated. Should be be understood those weren't straight out of the camera. It takes a bit of PP to wring something out of that tiny sensor.

Those were all taken with the S1 - here's one taken with the original Q, with an even smaller sensor than the S1....

I love this thread. It's so inspirational. After browsing through some of the recent photos, I broke out my Q7 and started experimenting. This is with the 08 lens.

Tried the 1000mm achromatic doublet on the Q.
This is way too big and clumsy for terrestrial use but I thought I'd give it a try just for the hell of it.
Because of the CA it's really a triumph of PP over gear.
About a distance of 90 feet or so? Cropped a bit.

Two taken with the Q + 03 Fisheye. This lens is a lot of fun to use! It has a really short minimum focusing distance, less than an inch, allowing some unusal angles.

These are gorgeous and I like the fisheye look on them.

A very rare outing for the 06 for me, I usually use the 08.
It's a building, I think a music museum of sorts, in Brussels, Belgium.
