This is a photo of the moon at the maximum magnification my Q can currently achieve. Unedited jpeg. Pointless photo, but I don't mind it.

Less is more...

I got this image on Flickr's Explore today.

Less is more...
by Benjamin Chan, on Flickr

Originally submitted for FlickrFriday's "Less is More" theme. Taken with a Q7 + Kern-Paillard Yvar 36mm f/2.8 AR Visifocus (D-mount). The skeleton looks like a toy, but it's actually a life-size sculpture perched atop a building in my neighborhood. I was across the street shooting it.

Having fun with the 03 lens. This lens is just so underated! Its short minimum focus distance combined with the DOF of the Q makes it possible to take shots that would be hard to achieve with any other lens/body.

Very True. The free DOF as it were is quite adventurous at times

I don't think you can ask for much more from a camera that is light weight and easy to carry on such expeditions. Nice shots. They remind me of hiking many years ago in Colorado.

Yes it was a great setup. I used a Peak Capture Clip so the Q was readily available on my pack strap. Made the whole process a grabbing a pic quick and a breeze.

Those shots with the QS1 and 08 are fantastic

I haven't been able to edit anything near that nice with my Q and 01

Having said that, I was happy with these, on a hill in Christchurch. ND filter turned on, and a shitty UV filter over the front just so I don't have to worry about a lens cap :P

Blackpool, UK was a massive tourist seaside town in the Victorian era but dwindled off in the '70's, it's now been replaced with cheap packaged deals abroad. However the Tower Ballroom is still fantastic. You can have Cream Tea there watching the dancing.
Q7, 08 Lens as ever, 100 ISO and 1/2 second exposure with camera resting on a jugglers bean bag.
