How about some concert shots? I took my daughters to see Taylor Swift, and no lenses longer that 3 inches were allowed in. Bust out the Q7! I mean, shooting a moving target in crappy irregular lighting from about 2 miles away, you know that'll work, right?

Here's the scene with the 06 at 22mm:

Here's the 06 at maximum reach:

And here's my DA70, on a Vivitar macro 2X TC, on a PKA adapter. Manual focusing and handholding a 644mm equivalent through a stopped down aperture, most of the shots were junk, but this turned out ok:

He's a beginner to photography, and he originally had the K-r, but the k-r was too big for him on his walks so I convinced him to get the Q7 and boy does he love it.

Also this thing renders blues super well, the colors in this pic are as shot. All I did was adjust contrast slightly.
Looks like Wakodahatchee in DelRay Beach FL

I really like this one!

Did you have to do much post-processing to capture the subtle contrasts on the right side of the image while still getting proper exposure / contrasts for the church?

As far as I can remember, it was about 1", take or give a few inches.
