Getting started editing my pictures from a recent holiday to Tuscany, Italy.
This is Florence. OOC jpeg, Q7, and a rare outing for the 06 Lens.

Some shots from Shawangunk. I'm still learning this camera (cf. the flare), but love it so far.

Q-S1 04 toy lens wide

I decided not to worry and just play around. This Toy Lens seems to take good close ups.

another with the 04 wide

I had the lens nearly touching the ruler

---------- Post added 10-22-15 at 03:26 PM ----------

since I have a Q-S1 and also two Q bodies, I think I am going to put the toy lenses on the original Q's and the more professional ones on the Q-S1 since it shrinks the sensor anyways. plus I can pocket the Q with the toys or the shield lens or the prime actually

Hi everybody--been a long time since I've posted a photo anywhere in the forums. Here's a few Brooklyn street photos with the Q10+01.

Sorry, didn't mean to turn it into a photo-dump! Will have to post more regularly. Cheers all.

I'm pretty stoked I picked up the HD 55-300 a few days ago and have been playing around with it on my K3, amazed at the price / performance ratio. It's sharper than I'd expected, especially for the money, and compared to the "vintage" 60-300 zoom and 300mm prime Tamron Adaptalls I've been using until now. Anyway, I tried it out with my Q7 for the first time tonight - the somewhat cliched moon-shot. I know my efforts don't compare well to others, but as a first attempt with the combo I was pleasantly surprised. Focussing was a little touch-and-go, but not too much of a problem - and I suspect practice will yield better results

Taken at 1/200 sec, ISO 100, 300mm at f.... (er... had the adapter set at 1.5)... A little post-processing in LR6, primarily a bit of contrast and sharpening, and conversion to B&W.

Recently in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy. This is San Giovanni church. It was found there were ruins under the church, some dating back to 200Ad. So they excavated the ruins and rebuilt a floating floor. You'r allowed access underneath on walkways, but this scene caught my eye, as you can see both below and above, both well lit from a viewport. I though it was quite unusual.
