how I got three Q's? is pretty simple. I had a Q with the regular zoom. Then, I got a Q that had an 01 attached for sort of less or equivalent the price of a Q or the price of a lens so I have two Q originals , one with the zoom and one with the prime. So then I heard the hype about the Q7 and QS1 so I got the QS1 with a redundant Zoom to what I already had. But I also have all the toy lenses, the prime, the regular zoom and the body 07 lens, so I am only missing the most expensive lens which is the wide angle zoom. I found these Q's to be sort of a pain in that i think maybe i can sell them but I won't because how much can gi get for them? but I haven't sold them and now lately i am playing wiht my fujis but may start using the Qs more. Besides the fuji xm1, xt10, x10 pentax Q and QS1, and Pentax k500 I also have the pentax Mx1, a bunch of bridge cameras from panasonic and pentax etc. and the pentax mx1 which is sorta magical.. I should probably sell some of this or maybe not. I dont want to get rid of any of them!

The Fuji's are nice camera's but the lenses are quite large which slightly defeats the purpose of a compact mirrorless camera. This is where m4/3's works well. Small camera footprint accompanied with relatively small lenses.

I am currently waiting on a second Q7 body that I bought from the forum market. I'm curious how are you lugging 2 or 3 bodies around? I've looked up dual camera straps and I haven't seen any that are designed to be more descreet and compact.

Also you mentioned you don't have the wide angle one yet, if you get a chance you should get one as it really completes the Q system. My plan is to have the 06 and 08 for both bodies and thats gonna be my setup.

I've missed a couple of days or so in the "Single in December" challenge due to family matters, but took this one today while in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It's of "The Sage" concert venue in Gateshead.

Processed in LR6 and Google Nik Pro.

As ever; great shots in this thread. Shows the fun that can be had with the Q.

My humble contribution:

first one with the -love it or loath it- 07 lens. Second with the 02 zoom lens.

1st entry in this fine thread. Just acquired an original Pentax Q and couldn't wait to try it with some vintage glass and a Fotodiox M42-to-Q adapter. So here's a quick pic of a Peppermint Carnation in front of a brightly lit window. Captured with the Pentax Q and a Carl Zeiss Flektogon preset (12 blades).
