Took this today with my original Q and 01 lens. Straight out of camera, no PP; only resizing.

I'm quite amazed at this little gem of a camera!

Great shot CSA. Like the composition with the fence. The blue sky is superb.
Thanks for sharing

Thank you for your kind words. I was going into town and happened to notice this very long fence, so pulled over to take the photo. I really love the quality of the Q!

After eighteen months of experiments, I feel that I have a reasonable but inexpensive birding kit built around my Q-7; it consists of a Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG lens {normally used at f/8} mounted on a Pentax adapter. So I refilled the feeders and went out on our deck in the hopes that a bird would stop by {recognizing that they have all kinds of options at this time of year}.

My hopes were more than met! Here are a few of the pictures I took. I may do something later with them, but right now I'm posting them Straight Out Of Camera as a tribute to what the Q-7 can do.

BTW: I really like this last one

Very nice set Reh321 and you are right that last one is the best. After a bit of PP it will be superb.

I though this darker arch and sunny day might stretch the Q7 tiny sensor a bit - probably has really. Still, I got something to keep as a memory. Q7, 09 Lens - Eze, a small village near Nice South France. Jpeg - straightened and a bit of sharpening only.

reh321. I really like #2, as black is so difficult to get good detail in, and your Red-wing blackbird is great! The last one is superb!

I'm very amazed at the Q's capabilities!

Thank you. {emphasizing what the camera does is why I posted it SOOC.}
