Which Kern lens you use? I'm a big fan of Kern-Paillard Yvar 13/1.9 even if it is not corner to corner sharp even on geuine Q.

That's the one. Kern-Paillard Yvar 13/1.9 AR with the Patent Pending stamp on the focus.

Q 03 fisheye

I find myself using Q 03 fisheye more often than I thought I would.

At first I bought it for wide angle nightsky shots, but wasn't satisfied with my tests (partly because of its 2 seconds maximum shutter speed). I haven't used it for a few weeks, then used it for daytime subjects for the last time before selling it, or so I thought. But as soon as I did that, I was like "oh wait, this fisheye distortion thing could be fun".

And the lens is tiny and priced right. My only complaint is the lens cover.

Falling down.

ROAD CLOSED.

Thanks for the information, very nice! Is the auto focus as fast as 01 lens without the close up lens?

You know, I never paid attention. When the weather clears, I'll check this out.

Has no more effect than any other situation that might change the relative size of the AF points owing to focusing distance.

Shooting in situations where a close-up subjects is involved wouldn't likely cause AF speed to be an issue. Manual focus would usually offer a degree of deliberate precision in selecting a focus point. As CSA mentioned, it's not something you'd notice.
