Actually, amazingly, it was just the file allocation table that got corrupted so I enlisted a friend to attempt a data recovery on the SD card and I got the important stuff back! I paid him back with a tire rotation in my drive way.

Thanks for the kind words as well.

Recent trip to Amsterdam. Both from Jpeg, a bit of tweaking in Gimp on a Linux Box.
Amsterdam Central Railway Station, Q7, and no surprise for me, 08 Wide. Jugglers Bean Bag for support

And the best museum I've ever been to the Rijks Museum. This is a Library in it.

I already posted these pictures in the Squirrels Thread, but I thought maybe I should post them here also. My wife and I just now returned from a trip to Quebec province in Canada; we had a hotel room just outside Old Quebec, and then another just outside Old Montreal, so in each case we were able to wander around on foot without having to drive in these crowded areas {other than arriving at the hotel and then leaving}, but of course this was rather hard on our 60-year-old+ bodies, so I pared my camera kit down to a wide-ish angle lens on my K-30 and my complete Q-7 outfit. When we saw this black squirrel on the Plains of Abraham, this made my Q-7 + 06 my camera of choice.

Some shots from a family holiday to the coastal area of the south of Spain... lovely place to visit. Great with kids. Taken with 01 and 07 lens

I'll toss in a couple too!

Spring shots with my Q S-1 and trusty 01 lens. I do still love my Q camera kit. I have the original Q and now the S-1. The Q must have the bad capacitor problem because it can never remember anything after a battery swap. So, the S-1. Great cameras!

I will also post these pictures on the squirrel thread, but I'm posting them here also because of my experience with lenses on the Q-7.

Yesterday while on my regular walk, I saw a squirrel doing what my twenty-something daughter calls "playing Froggy" {i.e., trying to cross a busy road without being run over}; at the moment, I wished I had a useful camera {my cell phone is way wide angle} with me, so today I took my Q-7 kit with me, with the 06 mounted. Of course, no squirrel braved the busy road today, but I did see this one in a nearby yard. Normally one of these fox squirrels will look quickly and then dash up the tree, but this one hung around, so after taking a couple of pictures with the 06 lens

I mounted the Tamron Adaptall #59A (28-70MM) I also had with me [note: for display here, the 06 image is cropped more than the #59A one is, of course]

I definitely need more practice in focusing the #59A {for one thing, I discovered later that I hadn't expanded my Hoodman quite all the way, so my view was a tad blurry by definition}, but this lens+adapter is small enough to have real possibilities as a regular in my Q-7 pouch. Next I need to find an opportunity to try both the #59A and the #44A that I also have.

Escher in the palace museum In The Hague, The Netherlands.
Every room, including this stairwell had the most unusual Crystal Light fittings. This was a globe, one was a bomb, a skull, a large insect etc. Great day out.
Q7, 08 lens, Jpeg
