I'm trying to get in the habit of carrying my Q with me. After all you never know. These all taken with Q 7 and either 01 or 06.

That's the reason I invested in the Q to begin with. I wanted a capable camera that would be as easy to bring along as my phone.
Oh and great shots!
By the way, what kind of establishment are we seeing in the left corner of your last photo? The one that says "Mjölk", it's the Swedish word for "milk" and since you live in Toronto according to your profile I got kind of curious.

Thanks, makkan. It's a gallery devoted to Japanese and Scandinavian design. I've peered in the window, but not ventured in for fear of spending too much money. The neighborhood is called the Junction, because of the old rail lines nearby, and is well worth a visit.

I was doing a photo shoot a few years ago and someone noticed the Q7 sitting in my camera bag. They thought it was a toy. I pulled it out and while we were taking a break to adjust lighting and do a wardrobe change I took a few shots. This is a close crop of one of those images shot with the Q7. 1/60 of a second, ISO 1600, F2.8 original shot as JPEG.

I live in Germany and here the temperatures typically range from -15 to 30 °C.
Our house is old but well insulated and we do our heating to maybe 40% with a wood stove.

On of my many interests are vintage chain saws. This year we got very big wood, about 90cm silver maple. I had to put my biggest saw in action: A Dolmar CC from ca. 1970.
The bar is not original, it is a japanese "porn"-bar.

The wood splits like hard rubber, so lots of sawing, lots of chips

Panorama shots

A couple of pano shots with 02 standard zoom, hand-held.

The first one was at the end of the rainy afternoon, the color of the sky was ridiculous.

This one I really liked that the 4km (2.5 miles) long concrete tube seemed to meld into the distant white cliffs along the Columbia River.
