^^^ Super composition. A really great photo... I love the mostly cloudless sky, with that one "arrow" of cloud piercing the rounded lines of that architectural sculpture!

Q7+fisheye

'Selfie' with the fisheye.
I do think Pentax never pushed on the 'adventure' segment with the Q and missed the boat.
Its small enough to be mounted and easily carried around otherwise, and it can change to 'serious image capture mode' with the wide range of lenses.

How I wish that 08 lens will have a closeout price for me to get one

Awesome. I think it's the same type we call "fox snakes" up here, because of the smell they produce.

We had one appear behind the house several years ago, and it kinda freaked me out too until I found out it wasn't dangerous. This one hung out with us for a week or so, mostly just coiled up and still (nesting possibly?), and then left never to be seen again.

Traditionally you're going to use a cell phone to take pictures of food, but ...

My wife has been watching "The Crown" on Netflix and decided we had to have tea and scones with marmalade for breakfast today.

This is with the zenitar 50mm f2 so is like a 235mm.

The Q is the best!!!

Terrible light at this spoken word venue. Pushed the Q7 to ISO6400 with the 06 Telephoto and shutter speeds as low as 1/25. I like challenges like this because it pushes me and my gear into new territory.

Its picts like this that shows that its the conscious 'doing' (ie. get out and take photos) that is far more important than the armchair theorizing on whether a camera like the Q can/cannot make it.

Nice coverage.

Q7 with the 02 zoom is becoming my go-to 'snap shots' option when cycling around.

Another recent ride to nearby countries.
This time, its the island of Batam, which is just 1hr from Singapore.

Q7+Fisheye

The Q7+Fisheye is such a fun combi that is so in sync with this non-serious aspect of using the Q system.

Hi vagrant10, I like #2, cool capture.

#1 looks kind of familiar to me. Eastern WA or OR, maybe close to Columbia River? Interesting clouds and colors, and when viewed in full size the black electricity towers and white wind turbines somehow looked like small people facing an army of giants to me.
