The Q is just too much fun, love taking it everywhere and shooting everything. Tried some bracketing and panoramas at sunset.

Excellent images adjutant. The sunset colors are very nice. Vibrant !

Q is fun. Such a serious camera that is so easy to carry. It is photographic freedom. Have fun.

Agreed. It's a very capable camera. That compact sensor it has is no joke.

I find myself only taking out my APS-C gear when I want shallow depth of field, not for better image quality necessarily.

Well, yeah, but couldn't you have arranged to have been holdin' a camera instead, John? Pretended to be an embedded photo-journalist or sumthun.

Hogback Mountain is just a little to the right. (out of sight in this shot). When I get some better weather, I'll take a photo of Hogback.

A couple from today ( The rest are in Initial shots with the Q10 [1080p Image Heavy] - PentaxForums.com ) :

Pentax Q10 w/ 01 Standard Prime using the "Bold Monochrome" smart filter (it's only my second day with the camera, gotta play with the filters obviously).

Pentax Q10 w/ 01 Standard Prime, over at the WMCAT (West Michigan Center for Art and Technology) where they had an exhibit of artwork.

Same config, same place, just my 13x19 print on the left also in the exhibit.

Portrait of one of the professors on the way out.
