The Q system is a very good compliment to a larger system for travels.

Be it just the versatile 02 (28-75 equivalent) for taking "selfies" during a bike tour.

To using it as the 200mm tele lens which would be too heavy to carry around on a fully loaded bike.

I posted more photos here from both with the K1 and Q7

Q7 with 02 Standard Zoom

Normally, I would prefer my 01 prime over all my Q-system lenses, but my copy is bright yellow. It can catch the eye whilst street shooting. No such issues with my black 02...

Millefiori Glass taken with a Q-S1, Jupiter 9 85mm F2 and 47mm of Movo Extension Tubes for the Q. There's a few other images on my Flickr page showing the working distance with the different tube sizes.

Organic Transit ELF

This vehicle and driver I encountered this morning on US Highway 281. I first passed him going the opposite direction, then doubled back to take a look and hopefully get a photo. Luckily I found where he had stopped to swap batteries! It's a pedal-powered trike, but also has a solar panel on the roof. Each battery is good for about 25 miles, and he had two of them. He also informed me that when the sun is shining the panel can charge up a battery in about six hours.

With the watermelons especially, this truck might almost have come straight out of the Walker Evans era.

Just a quick snap with the Q7 and 01 prime.
But the quality you get from the Q7 with even just a quick snap is one of the reasons I will never part with mine.
