That Tamron has a great aperture shape. Really neat.

Super image! Works well with the B&W. Was this taken before receiving the smaller model? Or is there a reason to use larger 72mm on the Q. Trying to decide to decide if I need one, and if so which one.
Thanks,
baronda

This was taken when I first bought the 72mm. The 02 lens was at 15mm. The bigger Soratama is readily available, more flexible and better value IMO as you can also use it even on larger sensor cameras and larger lenses with less chance of the vignetting filter rim showing up in frame. I have tried this 72mm on Canon And Sony APSC cameras and also Olympus MFT. Of course it works also with the Q/QS1 too if you don’t mind the size. The smaller 52mm won’t be as versatile.

Hi everybody,

I replaced now since about 4 months all my DSLRs by the Q as I realized that in 2 years time I only took 50 pics with the DSLR and about 800 with the Q.

Now I always have a small bag on me with my Q - 02 lens (more lenses on the way) - a remote - a gorilla pod and spare batteries. So I thought I will share my first shot of many to come.

This is a picture taken in the city of Huy (Belgium) at dawn when a nice mist was coming over the river Meuse.

Enjoy.

Great image BNBPhoto. Welcome to the Q family and forum. Replacing dslrs with the Q system is impressive. What will be your next Q lens? Can't wait to see more posts. Please consider entering the monthly photo contest mentioned below.
Thanks,

Hi barondla,

I have the 01 and 06 on order.Of course I am eyeing the 08 as well. I am actually so impressed with the Q's versatility that I would call it the Swiss army knife of cameras. Not particularly excelling at anything but more then decent in everything and it's always with you.

Here is another picture I took. Getting back details in the highlights was challenging though.
