Discrete portrait with Q7+08 lens

This is my regular lunchtime coworker Tim. I was able take this photo with my yellow Q7 and 08 unnoticed when he was sitting directly across the table at The Irish Rover in Louisville.

Darn impressive "street" skills perfessor5646. Especially with the wide 08 and yellow Q7.

Thanks for sharing,

Back in my film days, when I shot Canon SLRs, I was never comfortable doing street photography. I have a Canonette Rangefinder that I used to use when I felt the urge to try street candids of people.

I just found an SD card I thought I had lost that had a few nice shots of some Longhorn Cattle I met on a farm up near Watertown, NY last winter. Q7 with 02 zoom. Always missing these Qs, just wish there had been a macro lens!

Nice effect, 2old4toys!

During winter I run with Q7 in my pocket just in case something interesting shows up. Below are with 08 lens.

The third lens

I photographed a public awareness rally put on by all the homeless outreach orgs last Saturday morn. I took a K-3ii with 18-135, a K70 with Sigma 10-20 and slipped one of my Q7s with the 03 Fisheye in my jacket pocket. Unfortunately the perfect rubber band, I had found by accident, holding the focus ring in place slipped off or broke without my knowledge. It was cold and I was wearing gloves part of the time. So the held over the head fisheye shots looked like the fish was near sighted.

Clearly that was a noble act of exploring new photographic technique! Thanks for sharing, I have to try this.
