I had more fun with my 50mm FA Macro lens on my Pentax Q10. The subject was my Spotmatic. The pano's are a series of 6 images, for a total of 45mb or so! The detail is incredible, but doesn't show well on the attachments. I'll need to figure out a better way to add images to this forum. Somehow got locked out of my Flickr or something.

Here's my informal Pentax Q Vlog where I took these shots:

A green blowfly landed on my gas grill propane tank. Taken with a HANDHELD Q7, Pentax Q to K mount adapter and a DA 100 mm f2.8 macro lens.

Incredible that was handheld! You must have steady hands, unlike mine

I was a working photojournalist from 1985 until 2006. You have to learn how to do without a tripod. That said, I took over a dozen photos and only two had the focus in the correct plane. The low resolution of the Q series LCD screen is truly the systems Achilles heel.

This is Q7 with Q 06 telephoto and Kenko AC+5 close up filter. Cropped to square, adjusted sharpening and NR in lightroom.

The droplet froze but started melting with the morning sun, which you can see in the droplet together with the branches of this weeping cherry tree and my backyard fence

Even if you got only one good photo over a dozen, I would still think that you have very steady hands! I agree with you that LCD is one of Q's weak points.

I got the Q7 primarily for concerts. I used to use the RX-100 mk II, but found it didn't always have the reach I wanted for the distance I typically sat at the Hollywood Bowl.

Impressive concert images. In your hands the Q brings concerts alive. Well done.
