Not the best photo, but clearly great camera for travel! I used my Q on the go at the airport while running (almost) for a meeting.

Wow, great slow shutter capture, and black card works for real doesn't it? Impressed!

I recently went back east for my dad's funeral, I didn't want to pack my K-1 due to the size, so I opted for my Q7, and both my 02, and 06 zooms.

A couple of days after the funeral, I took a day trip to Philly. The Q handled itself admirably.

IMO Geno's has the better steak hands down.

Farm field nearby. Q7 and 08 lens. I had to use photoshop to locally tame nasty red lens flare. I also pushed shadows and pulled highlights, but no color adjustment otherwise.

Sorry for your loss. These are excellent travel pictures and the Q is the perfect travel cam. Didn't know Rocky was such a big deal. Never would've guessed there was a statue.

Thanks. I agree the Q is a great camera. I'm also considering a K-01.

Rocky is iconic in Philly. Originally the statue was put at the top of the stairs for filming Rocky III it was left there as a gift to the city by Stallone and it touched of a controversy of whether it was art or not. It was moved several times before finding it's current home in a grassy section to the right of the bottom of the stairs.

Pentax Q7 and 08 Wide Zoom. The first one is Columbia River and hundreds of American coots. The second one is a pano stitch of the farm field I posted previously.
