Moon at 500 mm

The moon with genuine (1st) Q and small 500 mm telescope (4 images stacked, 500/4.4, ISO 125 1/125 s. not cropped). The seeing was so-so at best. I'm quite happy with the result, but have to check if good 300 mm lens could be more useful for most moon photos.

I'll see how the F*300/4.5 compares with the Newtonian :-)

this kind of photo is why i love the Q. it's not the technicality of a photograph but just.. the moments <3

At a local Pharmacy, in Southern Oregon.
Taken with the 01 prime lens, on my Q7 - using the camera's 'Bold Monochrome' setting.

VW Bug rear-view Mirror

Being an admirer of vintage and old-school Volkswagen Beetles and VW Bugs, I couldn't resist stopping for a closer look when I saw this one parked on the street in Ashland, Oregon. I think the classic lines and design of old V.W.'s are rivaled by the classic lines and design of Pentax Q cameras, including the Q7 I took this one with.

Glimpses of Toronto.....

These are some recent photos I took while in two of Toronto's shopping neighbourhood. I had to use Topaz JPEG to Raw AI to create TIFF files (DNG files preseves the 02 lens barrel distortion of the 02 lens) and edited in Topaz Adjust AI . Some of the photos was further processed in Adobe Photoshop Elements.

Q7, 02 lens

Norbert,
Marienburg must still be expecting unwelcome visitors! Razor wire and all!

At my local supermarket, in Ashland, Oregon, you can buy an original Henri Matisse...for only a few dollars!
Taken with the Q7 and the 01 Prime lens.
