Anyway, if you're after smooth water blur, maybe you can use/buy additional ND filter? The built-in ND filter (which you used, I'm guessing) only goes 2-stops, which isn't enough for such a purpose.
Yeah I used only the built-in ND. I have not tried any physical ND filters yet, I'm quite interested on how they would affect the photos, but I wasn't sure if Q lenses can fit an ND filter.
I'm still waiting for a cloudy day for this shot or at least a normal 4-5 pm sundown. It's been quite sunny lately. The funny thing about learning with the Q is that all along I thought as long as there's plenty of light, photos should turn out great. I used to skip going out to take photos on a cloudy, grey day. Turns out that's one of the best lighting I could have if I miss the golden hour (which I do, I sleep in on my off days lolz)

A little intermission before I do another photo dump:
The left one is the pentax Q with 01 lens cropped to as much as I can, the shot is really far away, I didn't bring my 06 lens. The right is the google pixel 6, also cropped to match the Q shot.
I've been using the Q 9/10 times when I purposely go out to take photos now, and I think I can now see the appeal of the Q vs a phone camera shot. It's never gonna be as sharp or clear, but there's something about the Q shot. Embrace the grain and haze!
