photographing with Q

Pentax Q - a set on Flickr

all jpg's straight from camera , unprocessed.
composing a bit tricky in sunshine - can not see a thing on LCD screen, so just point , half press, wait for AF beep, press the shuttle and hope for the best.
a bit hard to keep horizon leveled.
the camera body feels and behaves great!
both 01 + 02 feel extremely fragile, I wonder how long they are going to last

kind regards
jack

Please use the "post your photos" section for sharing photos in the future, and I'd recommend embedding one or two of the shots to get more comments.

Yup, the lenses seemed quite flimsy when I used them. In fact, I hard a hard time even classifying the toy lenses as lenses, lol (they're really more like toys!).

I thought the same thing about the lenses initially, but the reality is, something that small isn't going to have enough mass to feel anything but flimsy. Look at the construction and materials used, there isn't a lot of plastic showing, but the aluminium lens barrel feels pretty solid. I don't think the construction is up to the Limited lens standard, but I don't think it's that far off either.

The lenses seem fragile but I think because there compact it makes them stronger. My lenses have been through hell, I go powerblading with them all through the city cant count how many times Ive wrecked and landed on my backpack side down with all my Q gear in it, and last night I accidently stepped on my 01 lens and its just fine...
