Great capture Larry. that Q7 looks great

Thanks Hans, it produces well over the Q I think.
I did not bring the Q to compare though.

DAM, now how will convince my wife I need one more new camera body, or I could get a white one and loose or sell my white Q

I sold one of my Qs to buy this one.

I like the Q7 enough to consider replacing my other Q as well but the magnesium body holds me back.
I haven't used the Q at all since I tried the Q7.

If you can swing it I would recommend swapping one of yours out.

If you are like me it will become your primary Q.

Once or if the prices drop significantly on the Q7 I will probably get a second one.

Reach? How about a series 1 70-210/3.5 at 210mm.

Here is a picture of the moon taken last evening. Used a standard Q and cropped to approx 2MP. Lens was a F*250-600/5.6 at 600mm and f/5.6.

Wow, amazing detail. Single exposure or stack?

It's a single exposure. I am a little bit impressed myself of this lens, because I know every optical fault of an old FF lens really shines on a Q. And here I have cropped a lot, too. It does have some red and green abberation, but it was easily removed in Lightroom.
