Hans,
Very nice Egret shots!
I recently purchased a M 135mm f/3.5 in anticipation of using it on my Q, once it arrives.
Thanks for showing its abilities.
It's a nice lens on the Q, small and light, I shoot mine at f5,6. Makes a small package mounted to the Q, it's my most used adapted lens yet

Tamron 70 - 200 f2.8 @ 200mm

The photo itself lacks detail but i just got a cheer out of how the reach of the Q really impacts on people
Note the little white point in the water

Good work MG, the Tamron looks like it might need one stop more? Looks like you are having nice weather down there.
Lets see the 150-500 at that location

Moon with promaster 70-300

quick moon shot with my $20 zoom little tree in the way but you get the idea I think it was around 180mm then I cropped it and made it BW to hide the PF

Yes, Colombia is passing through a unusual dry season (some are talking about a new "El Niņo" Phenomenon) I think that the lack of sharpness is more due to the distance the egret was and my inability to get it into perfect focus, i might need to bring a better tripod.. one touch on the focus ring and that image jumped... The Sigma 150-500 is my preferred birding lens, but we where only two, and the location is in a public metropolitan park... and like they say in Colombia, there are to many potential "Amigos de lo ajeno" ( "friends of that what does not belong to them" ) there, the Sigma simply calls for to much attention.

Hello-
Here is a picture of the Thomas Point lighthouse with a freighter behind it taken from the shore 2 miles away with my new da 55-300 and theFotodiox
adaptor with aperture control. I took this picture from Thomas Point Park where I walk my dog every day. It is on the Chesapeake Bay near Annapolis.

Nice shot, cool subject. Hand held or tripod,

Wow, you can clearly see that the air (due to different temp between air and water maybe?) is the main thing affecting image quality. You ran into the same limitation as the astrophotography guys!
I think that one is cool enough to get printed.

Well, seriously, that's high on my list of lenses I'd like to see with a Q stuck on. While you're at it I'd like to see Q + 600 compared to K-5 + 2x-L + 600. I have the idea that the Q beats a high-quality 2x in most situations, but would like to see a real comparison. So get busy!
