I think '150/1500 mm MAK auf Celestron CAM' might be a clue

Dunno now...he hasn't got it in his gear list and the bloke who posted it isn't around.
Just thought the 3D was amazing

He is using a 6" Maksutov Telescope/1800mm fl and a Celestron Camera made for astrophotography.

Actually, the EXIF says it's a Q.

This one is a bit rough, taken through cloud on a 6" telescope, un-cropped image. 1250mm x 5.6 gives 7000mm

This is the new DIY focuser with the Kx on it:



The original focuser was too tall (as it is on most cheap telescopes).

That is an interesting setup, very nice that it can let you get images such as the sample you posted.

From the Kx, I should be able to get about the same resolution from the Q.

This last one is very sharp ! If I can find a good deal on a Q-K genuine adapter... I'd try that on my big lens....
