Yes a sensor close in size to a Nikon System 1 would be a good thing to have in the Q. Having this senor in the Q with all the neat things it brings with it would all be a good thing for the Q.

I looked them up. :-)

I've got the TX5 waterproof camera that uses the older 12MP version of that 1/2.33" BSI sensor. The 18MP version puts even more of the circuitry behind the photosites, so maybe we'll see some S/N improvements. This would be a good candidate for the Q2.
