Q at QVC for $298!!

I also received the PK-P/Q adapter from Amazon and a 12mm F1.3 C-mount lens from ebay today that I planned on using with the Q.

I still have the C-mount to Q-mount adapter coming. QVC has the highest prices for cameras on the internet, only an idiot would order a camera from them that are much higher than MSRP. $230.99 with free shipping at Amazon and no tax vs $90 ($321 ) more at QVC .

What really pissed me off is my PK-P/Q adapter and a 12mm F1.3 C-mount lens was delivered by my USPS carrier just before the UPS guy delivered the QVC package and I thought that was perfect timing. Now I have three Q items that include a Q C-mount adapter also coming and no Q.

The supervisor can be a thousand miles from the warehouse. It's very possible that he's never seen a Pentax Q in his life. All he has is a database with part numbers and descriptions. If the database is wrong in the first place, there is no way the supervisor can figure out what to do/say.

You'd think by this time, QVC has figured out there there was a glitch somewhere and has stopped all shipping of E257713. But there are indications that they are still preparing the shipments. QVC is just living according to the Bible, "The left hand doesn't know what the..... the right hand is doing."

They actually included a packing slip with the wrong sku E257714 and description for the Optio vs20 as if that was what I ordered.
I have little confidence that I will receive a Q in exchange once I send this back.
Oh well, it was worth a shot.

I was being facetious when I wrote that. QVC is a major company that sells tons of stuff to my mother. Why would I call my mother a dupe?

Those that ordered will likely be nothing out of pocket. Some of them are largely dissappointed though.
