Q at QVC for $298!!

Their small print said cards wouldn't be charged until the items ship. It sounds like it is coming form a vendor, so I doubt we will ever get them. (Yes I ordered one too. Don't tell the wife.)

I don't think they sell a body only kit, do they? Just like how they don't sell the 01 prime by itself.

I don't think so either, but it was just something odd I noticed in the description. Off to check my email and see if they sent anything yet.

Nope, nothing yet. And going back to the site, no changes and I had no problem putting it in my cart and proceed up to confirmation at checkout.

I just received an email that mine has shipped and the dollar amount and payment info is still the same. We'll see. Maybe since they only have it in white, they are having a crazy big clearance sale. Who knows. Luck to all -- love the forum.

Very cool. If you look st their site they have the two lens Q kit for around $1k, which together with the $800 P&S is what led me to see <$300 as a mistake. Glad they're appearing to honor prior sales at thst price!

I went back to the site and now you can add it back to the cart still at the $298 price.

Now, just noticed on the forums here this morning that Amazon has a "blowout bargain sale thingy sale" on the Q with pricing to be announced @ 11am EST today, this has me wondering if the price on QVC is actually not a mistake and Pentax is blowing them out. Interesting it now is!

buy it at 298 and buy the additional lens as a stand alone. none of the lenses are costly

Maybe they just haven't lowered the price of the kit yet

I'm still leaning towards a price mistake. It's been up for quite a while, and if it was a mistake, I would have expected it to be fixed by now. I thought about picking one up, but to be honest, I wasn't sure I'd really make much use of it (even for $300, which I realize is a steal compared to their release price).
