Ordered my Q!!!!

...just seconds ago I did it. I ordered my Pentax Q at which dropped the price of the 01 Prime-kit extremely. I only paid 299 pounds which is 375 euro.. Now the counting of days begins. It wil be delivered within 3 to 5 days from now. I am very very excited.... as you all can understand!

That IS a fantastic price, makes me consider getting one myself! Need to save my pennies for now though. Hope you enjoy it, and don't lose it down the back of a sofa or something :P

Congratulations Henny! You will have a difficult time sleeping the next 5 days. One accessory that is highly prized by Q shooters is an extra battery or two. 250 shots go by so quickly when using the Q.

Reviews with a different twist to check out are the wouter Brandsma blog, Steve Huff "pocket full of pixels", and the Blunty 3000 youtube video. This will keep your mind off the Q shipping schedule. Enjoy.

I'll second getting an extra battery. Highly recommended. Also, if you can, get a wireless remote for the Q. It supports both a IR sensor in the front and in the back. Back sensor only allows 5cm of distance, but perfect for when you want to guarantee a stable shot without using the timer. You can also do bracketing and high continuous shooting using just the remote.
