Picture Comparisons

I am interested in the Q, but definately not convinced yet. I am wondering if any Q users can post some side-by-side examples of the same photo taken with the Q and then with a Pentax DSLR.

So ideally the tripod stays in the same place/position and you put the lens on your DSLR for a photo and then on your Q for a picture and post both results. If you have a lens with a tripod mount then you would just have to change the camera bodies. I would like to see the difference in the field of view and quality.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can do this for me!!

heres another one, I have no clue about the settings... To lazy to pull up exif, sonnetar was for sure at f/4....

All these images were somewhate same distance, different focal lengths. I'm sure you can get an assumption of IQ from these because I doubt someone will set up a scientific evaluation...

The Q is remarkable for its sensor size, but it seems the old adage of 'no replacement for displacement' still holds true...

Did you conclude that using the displacement size of your wit, but then replaced the thought with the typical knee jerk reaction to resolve the contradiction you otherwise cannot resolve within the size of your wit?
So the statement is quite true for your own comment.

Yes but is there anyone out there with a "Q" and a pentax DSLR that can perform this test for me? I am just interested in seeing a comparison of "the same shot" between the two cameras, meaning that the lens is on a tripod and doesn't move and two different camera bodies are used to obtain the images.
