Has anyone complained to Pentax that 1/15 sync is making life unnecessarily hard?

As we know it, the max flash sync speed drops to 1/15 when a 3rd party adapter is mounted.
This is just making life unnecessarily hard for enthusiasts trying to help the Q find some respectability by doing some good tele and macro shots.

Does anyone know the avenue to complain about this intentional crippling of the camera?

Thanks

I suppose this is because the electronic shutter doesn't allow faster? Don't see why complaining would make any difference to this...

I guess Pentax intends to fix this with their own adapter? This would have a built-in shutter, and as such avoid the limitation of the electronic shutter. I expect this will come at a premium though.

As far as I understood Pentax's own adapter would be available this month, but I'm not sure my source has primary information (i.e. from Japan).

Perhaps so, but I'd rather get some peace of mind that I did something about it by writing to the relevant place/people.
For all we know, they may be totally unaware of this 'screw up' and happily popping the champagne on a firmware well done.

At the least, they can just allow the flash trigger signal to go thru the hot shoe and let the users figure out a way to use it.

I hope you are right about the release of the original adapter.
