The Q not dead just yet...

Well was browsing youtube for new pentax videos came across this from the Exposure Camera Show I think in Canada, talks a lot about the new cameras, but at the end he specifically says that new lenses are coming for the Q on up... I have yet to give up on my Q as it's just an absolute joy to shoot with my sonnetar, wether I'm rocking my K-01 or MX I always have my Q with me. Now I'm just crossing my fingers for that wide angle with OVF to complete my Q system.

Key points I get from that is:
K-30 is middle line camera for there is another release below k-30 coming
8 New lenses: And based on the road map we can see...

4 for K-mount:
40 2.8 XS, 50 1.8, 560, and high magnification zoom.

1 for 645:
90mm

There are 3 remaining lenses what could they be ?

Keep in mind that lens roadmaps always include fine print stating that whether "planned" products actually make it to production (or not) of course "may vary in response to market conditions".

Yep sure does, but 8 lenses is 8 lenses. I just wonder what the unannounced ones are! I was just putting a couple of pieces of the puzzle together to narrow it down to see how many we might expect for each mount.

Quite a few statements there that were not exactly correct about the existing items.

Ahh this is one of those commonly quoted series of movies that I have just never got around to watching. I'll get to it one day

Im guessing the Q tele, the Q wide, and that stupid lens cap pinhole, I know its stupid cause I payed $100 for the skink pinhole for Q which is the same thing, Q's sensor is to small for pinhole photography...

Nice find, I hadn't seen that.

I suspect a q long zoom and pinhole (lens cap) will be next. Whether we ever see a wide or not remains to be seen--I really hope so. I would LOVE a fast 28 or 35 with the same optical quality and leaf shutter/nd as the "50." a tele prime would be a must-buy, too.
