BTW I have to say the 01 Prime is ideal for groups of 2-3 people in regards to flash distance.

Cheers for reminding me wizofoz, I was going to do the same thing with my Kx flash and totally forgot about it untill your post-I think this is the go for me, will have to experiment this weekend.
Although after Friday I was just getting infuriated with the AF in low light, I can still always MF but it still is annoying if I give the camera to someone else.
Big correction ,disregard this comment-I somehow turned off the AF confirmation light in the menus, no idea how I did it as it is the default option and I have no reason to turn it off so all good for next night out now thats fixed and the DIY film canister diffuser on top

My version of a Q flash diffusor. Works great for macro (06 zoom and Raynox 250)

First I extract the pop-up flash. Then I put the edge of the blister (one millimeter) on the flash hole. And then I close the pop-up flash hard. The blister will bend a little, but it will not break.

Just had a thought, has anyone tried slipping ping-pong ball over the flash head?
I don't have one handy, but it seems worth a try...

With a 3rd party adapter the shutter speed max for external flash is 1/13 second.
The original Pentax adapter lets you shoot up to 1/250 second with external flashI believe.
Also check this thread.

Wait a minute... the 1/13 shutter speed limitation is only when you use an external flash? Or also without flash?
I want to use C-Mount lenses (without flash). I can shoot in 1/250 for example?

With no flash you can shoot any speed.
